The weekend may be over but we’re still singing (with excitement) about tonight’s upcoming online event!
This event – Navigating Copyright for Choirs in Canada – is co-moderated by Meghan Hila of Choral Canada and Byron Pascoe of Edwards Creative Law and features presenters James Leacock of SOCAN Music, Greg Smith of Entandem, Andrew Hunter of Canadian Musical Reproduction Rights Agency Ltd. (CMRRA)
The event takes place on Wednesday, December 9 from 12:00 – 1:30 PM EDT and answers your questions about Copyright in the Canadian choral context.
The focus will be on easy-to-understand regulations for online performances (live-streamed and recorded), in-person concerts, and hybrid performances (live-streamed/recorded and in-person).
Registration (by 9 p.m. EDT on Monday, December 7):
– Free for members of Choral Canada
– $10 for non-members (includes HST and Eventbrite fee)
