We’re excited to share about the first-ever Arctic Music Conference and Arctic Music Awards hosted by Hitmakerz. These online events are created to celebrate and support artists, music industry professionals, and other participants from the Arctic region.
The program will bring together people from across Arctic nations, and events will include award presentations, workshops, performances, and panel discussions about how music can improve the quality of life in the north.
The conference will take place virtually on March 24-25, 2023, and tickets are now available at ArcticMusicConference.com
Nominations are now open and will be accepted until March 8, 2023. Voting will take place from March 9-22, 2023. Anyone with a professional affiliation can easily nominate an artist or group at ArcticMusicAwards.com. The winners will be chosen based on fan votes and announced during the conference.

To be eligible, artists or group members must be “from the Arctic”, which means currently living or raised primarily above the Arctic Circle, tree line, or in areas where average July temperatures are below 10°C. The music must be available online and released after January 1, 2020. Nominees in the Indigenous category must be able to provide community references or validate their status.
